I am a Driving Standards Agency Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) based in Whaley Bridge in the High Peak.  I primarily instruct new drivers aiming to sit their driving test, but I am available to drivers of all abilities and experience who feel that they may wish to freshen up their driving skills.

I followed 30 years of receiving high quality driver training with the police, with instructor (ADI) training with the Automobile Association (AA). As a retired police inspector, I feel that I can offer a safe, professional and friendly environment for you to develop your driving skills.

I currently charge £35 per hour for lessons.  Lessons are usually for either 1 or 2 hours, although that can be tailored to meet your requirements.

I am willing to meet with you, with no obligation, to discuss your needs.  It is a chance to meet me and  have your questions answered (and perhaps a few fears allayed!).  Learning to drive involves a serious commitment, in both time and money, so it is also a chance for you to decide if I am the person you want to make that commitment with.
